CITY OF LANSING - PLAY MICHIGAN!

Completed: September 2023

Contracted Amount: 1 Million

Miller LS Bridge Construction undertook the monumental task of constructing Play Michigan!, a universally accessible playground initiated by “The Community Foundation.” Our expert construction crew, driven by a passion for creating safe and inclusive spaces, meticulously executed various aspects of this project. With a focus on safety and precision, Miller LS Bridge Construction built the park’s boardwalks and decks while implementing robust measures to protect the surrounding environment from loose debris.

Our dedication to adhering to state safety regulations ensured not only the safety of the playground but also the well-being of nearby residents and visitors. Through careful planning and execution, we played a vital role in bringing Play Michigan! to life, creating a barrier-free environment where all children and adults, regardless of ability, can play and thrive together. We believe our commitment to excellence in construction has left a lasting impact, creating a legacy of inclusivity and community engagement for generations to come.

LANSING RIVERWALK TRAIL

Completed: July 2023

Contracted Amount: 2.6 Million

Miller LS Bridge Construction played a pivotal role in revitalizing Lansing’s downtown riverwalk trail, enhancing the overall ambiance and safety of the area. Tasked with improving pedestrian and cyclist accessibility along the Grand River, our construction team embarked on a transformative project that would leave a lasting impact on the cityscape. Working in collaboration with city officials, Miller LS Bridge Construction oversaw the project to reconstruct and rehabilitate 5 bridges along the Downtown Lansing riverwalk. The project included the removal andf new timber decks on the railroad bridge, the reconstruction of the concrete bridge under the Lansing Center’s pedestrian sky bridge, and the reinforcement oreconstruction of 2 boardwalks and pedestrian pathways.

Through our meticulous attention to detail and dedication to quality craftsmanship, we have significantly contributed to enhancing Lansing’s riverwalk trail, leaving behind a legacy of safety, accessibility, and community pride for generations to come.

ST.CLAIR - KING ROAD OVER BELLE RIVER

Completed: November 2023

Contract Amount: 2.5 Million

Miller LS Bridge Construction is thrilled to announce the successful completion of the King Road bridge replacement project over Belle River—a pivotal endeavor in bolstering community connectivity and safety. In collaboration with the esteemed St. Clair County Road Commission, our team has undertaken a comprehensive overhaul, ensuring that this vital infrastructure meets the highest standards of resilience and functionality.

Bid farewell to the old and welcome the new! With meticulous precision, our crew replaced the aging concrete structure with robust galvanized-coated steel tub girders, setting the stage for a durable and long-lasting bridge. But we didn’t stop there—approach work, including concrete decking, guardrail installation, and asphalt paving, further solidified our commitment to seamless integration and top-notch quality.

Employing specialized techniques and materials such as earthwork and erosion controls, Miller LS Bridge Construction not only reinforced the structural integrity of the bridge but also prioritized environmental sustainability. As the new King Road bridge emerges as a beacon of progress, we take pride in our role in enhancing community connectivity and safety. With a nod to innovation and excellence, we look forward to the continued prosperity of our beloved St. Clair County community.
